With the summer season approaching, everyone is excited to eat tasty, spongy marshmallows. If you are one of them waiting to hop on this sugary item, this news will surely make you jump out of bed and run straight to the grocery store. Jet-Puffed, a brand that sells red and green Holiday Mallows and Candy Corn Marshmallows, just launched a fresh, new variety. These marshmallows are called Jet-Puffed Color Changing Marshmallows. The new, squishy treat changes color when you heat or toast them! And, no, they don’t turn into the traditional golden brown color.
What’s the Secret Ingredient?

It is the first time Jet-Puffed has designed these marshmallows to be fluffier and puffier when heated. They have revealed that they have used a special ingredient in the batter to get the color-changing effect possible. Since its launch, everyone has been digging to find the secret recipe behind it. However, the company is being tight-lipped about it. But we do know that they are available in two colors: pink marshmallows that turn orange; and blue marshmallows that turn green. And they are receiving very positive feedback from families for bringing out these delicious, colorful s’mores.
Where Can You Find These S’mores?
The Jet-Puffed color-changing marshmallows came in April only. And will be available in your nearest grocery stores till September. They only cost $2.99 per pack. So, what are you waiting for? Grab these sweet delicacies before they run out. The company says that these new marshmallows transform right in front of your eyes. And it only takes about 10 seconds of heat to change the color. While these colorful s’mores are taking on the food trend, some select food companies also follow the same trick. For example, a Butterfly Pea Flower Tea changes color from blue to violet; or Sunbutter Cookies change colors from brown to green.
