Second, we are pretty certain that the flower in the middle is reminiscent of the lotus. The lotus is extremely important in eastern cultures and has a lot of symbolism associated with it.

We have to admit that we didn’t see this transformation coming. The existing rose, which was the centerpiece of the original tattoo, has taken a secondary role in the new tattoo.

It seems like the focus has shifted to the woman’s face with three extra added features: three circles containing different images. It also seems like they added some sort of winding road that leads to the woman’s face. We find this tattoo fascinating.

We don’t know what LSH means, but we really like what they did with it. It looks like they transformed it into something else entirely. It appears that they’ve created a glade in a forest that actually looks like it’s a setting from a movie since it’s propped by a metal frame.

This made us think of reality as a sort of charade or a film that is waiting to be lifted. It is almost as if there is more to it.

Sometimes people no longer feel the same about the tattoo they made when they were younger. This could be the case here. It seems like they no longer felt comfortable with this religious symbolism and decided to change it by transforming it into a rose, supported by intersecting geometric lines, thus making the tattoo a lot more neutral.

We find the combination of this flower with the geometrical lines very mysterious.

It looks like this tattoo needed a complete makeover. The original tattoo looks faded and barely visible. So, they decided to transform it into something new and refreshing. The new tattoo reminded us of some mysterious female character from fantasy books.

To be more exact, this does not look like some generic fish, but more like a catfish. The addition of the dragonfly, and the water engulfing the fish, add to the artistic qualities of this tattoo.

The original tattoo looks more like an indistinct blot. However, in the hands of some dexterous artist, they have transformed it into something that should be proudly displayed. The new tattoo looks almost like a real rose.

A fading tattoo of a unicorn was transformed into a mesmerizing tattoo of a mysterious woman. For some reason, this made us think of Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos). Perhaps it has to do with the butterflies, which feature skulls.

If we examine it in relation to the woman represented in this tattoo, this gives us an eerie feeling. However, we take off our hats to the artist who was able to create something as beautiful and captivating as this.

What looks like a tattoo featuring playing cards and poker chips that are almost completely faded was turned into something very ominous, but extremely cool. The new tattoo features a skull and what seems to be a human brain growing out of it.

This tattoo is clearly not for the faint-hearted. It takes a lot of stomach to stare at this tattoo for long. We don’t know what this person had in mind when they requested this tattoo, but we feel they must be really tough.

We don’t know what Rom did to them, but it seems like they wanted to forget about her — by turning her into a demon. They incorporated the existing features of the old tattoo but added a lot of other things to it.

We have to admit that it looks quite creepy to us. For some reason, it also reminds us of demon depictions in Asian culture. Something about the bright red features and the gaping mouth bears resembles Asian depictions of demons.

Sometimes the most basic tattoos can actually turn out to be very complex. This is the case here. What started off as two small, seemingly disconnected, tattoos, quickly grew into a massive tattoo covering almost half of their upper back.

This is an elaborate and complex design, featuring unique geometrical shapes and what looks like a very large diamond in the middle. The Asian characters were retained in the new tattoo as well.

As we’ve seen more than once already, sometimes you have to cover up more than one tattoo. While this presents unique challenges, you can also end up with an impressive result.

This person started with a tried and true tattoo of a heart and a banner reading “mom.” To finish the design off, they even had a floral arrangement surrounding it. To cover all that up, the artist rendered a familiar scene in a Hogwarts-themed snow globe.

We can’t see the original design behind this coverup easily but it’s clear that it’s done in thick black lines. It looks like they took the original concept of a heart tattoo and updated it.

To cover the lines from the old tattoo, this version of a heart on their skin was a bit more intricate. With a solid center of vibrant flowers on a black background, the coverup effectively covers the original tattoo completely. Not to mention, it’s gorgeous as well.

There are times that the problem isn’t really with the tattoo itself but the artist who executes it. This transformation shows it off pretty well.

The first tattoo isn’t the worst ever but it definitely left this person wanting more. For one, you can’t really tell that the name tattooed here says “Michael.” The amazing news is that this person found the right artist to fix all those mistakes.
